Funeral of Prince Richard Scheduled For March 21 in Bad Berleburg

The funeral of Richard, 6th Prince zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg will take place on Tuesday March 21, it has been confirmed by his family.

It will be held at the Evangelische Stadtkirche in Bad Berleburg, the Prince’s hometown.  The service will be led by the Church’s pastor, Claudia Latzel-Binder. Prince Richard’s son-in-law, Alexander Johannsmann, husband of Princess Nathalie, confirmed to Billed-Bladet that the funeral will begin at 2pm.

The Prince, who died at the age of 82 on Monday March 13, will then be interred into the Berleburg family vault.
