Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden’s Name Day Celebrated in Stockholm
On March 12, Crown Princess Victoria and her family celebrated her annual name day celebrations at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
The celebrations started with a tribute concert performed by the Life Guards band where the Queen Victoria präsentiermarsch (or Armed Forces parade march) was performed. Duke of Västerbotten by Per Berg and Uptown Funk were also played during the concert, finishing with With a Simple Tulip and the Victoria Fanfare.
There were cheers, a salute and flowers for Crown Princess Victoria as well as gifts for Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.
Victoria also donated to the Royal Flower Foundation; which is a non-profit organisation that supports the Crown Princess Victoria Fund; which in turn supports children and young people with disabilities and/or chronic diseases.
