Mette-Marit Opens Clothing Thrift Store in Oslo
The Crown Princess of Norway was present at the opening of the ninth thrift store run by the organisation Normisjon in Oslo on Thursday.
She was given a tour of the store, which sells preowned clothes and accessories, by the general secretary of Normisjon, Anne Birgitta Langmoen Kvelland. She also met with the twenty volunteers who will be running the store, whose profits will go to programs that “provide education to children and young people in Bangladesh and India”.
Mette-Marit brought out her trusty olive green skirt suit with a bow around the collar of the jacket for the event. As she was walking through the store, a floral dress caught the Princess’s eye, which she purchased for herself.
