Spanish-British State Visit Confirmed For June

It has been confirmed this morning by the British and Spanish Royal Courts that the much-awaited state visit to the United Kingdom by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain will take place this June.

The royal couple will make the visit between June 6 and 8, at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II.

The state visit was originally planned to take place in March 2016, however was cancelled due to the political deadlock that Spain had following government elections in December 2015 (a new government was not officially formed until November 2016).

Could we potentially have a second outing of La Buena for Queen Letizia?
