Princess Christina To Undergo Stem Cell Transplant

The Swedish Royal Court has today given an update on the health of Princess Christina: she is to undergo a stem cell transplant to help fight her blood cancer.

According to the Court, the Princess – whose diagnosis was announced in October last year – has been undergoing chemotherapy, which will going well, is not able to cure the cancer because it is located in the bone marrow stem cells.

Her doctors have thus recommended the next course of treatment as the transplant. Naturally, the health and treatment of Princess Christina is hers and her family’s focus for the near future.
