Reports: Pierre and Beatrice Welcome Baby Boy

It is being reported that Beatrice Borromeo has given birth to her first child with husband Pierre Casiraghi, a baby boy born today, February 28, in Monaco.

While the news has not been officially confirmed by a spokesperson for the couple, or of Princess Caroline, four hours ago Beatrice’s sister Matilde posted a scenic photograph of the Monaco harbour with the caption “28/2/2017 new date to add in the calendar for my family” accompanied by blue love hearts on her Instagram account.

Vanity Fair España is reporting that the birth took place at the Princess Grace Hospital. Various news outlets were reporting yesterday that Beatrice had gone into labour.

Update 1/3 – Hola has published a statement from Princess Caroline and Beatrice’s mother, Countess Paola Marzotto in which they confirm the arrival of their new grandson. Other media reports state the baby’s name is Felice.

Update 2/3 – Hola has published an exclusive saying the baby’s name is actually Stefano Ercole Carlo.
