Danish Princess Open Conferences and Debates
Denmark’s ‘M’ Princesses were out and about today, attending conferences and debates.
Crown Princess Mary was present and gave a speech at the Copenhagen Business School’s CBS Case Competition panel debate. The theme of the day’s panel debate was ‘Opportunities in Crises’.
Meanwhile, in Birkerød, Princess Marie officially opened BIGMUN – Birkerød High School Model United Nations – at the school. The high school has hosted a model UN event for its students and others from across Europe and the US every year since 2011, giving them the opportunity to theorise on social issues in a similar way to the UN.
She encouraged the students attending to “make full use of these days to build strong relationships because your personal network is what the world will need” during her speech, where she spoke of the important of making the most of your education so you are able to contribute and make positive change to the world.
