Queen Máxima Opens ‘A Royal Paradise’ Exhibition
The Queen of The Netherlands opened a new exhibition at the Dordrecht Museum on Saturday that highlights the work of eighteenth century artist Aert Schouman.
‘A Royal Paradise: Aert Schouman and Imagination of Nature’ includes five paintings of Schouman’s speciality (watercolours of birds, mammals and plants) that were commissioned by Willem V, Prince of Orange.
Queen Máxima, donning an olive green sheath dress and grey accessorises, was given a tour of the exhibition which opens to the public on February 19 and will run until September 17.
