Princess Madeleine Opens Nordic-Themed Children’s Library In London
Princess Madeleine of Sweden today opened the new Library Room for Children at London’s Southbank Centre. The library is one of the projects being held in 2017 as part of the ‘Nordic Matters’ festival.
The Princess, who was wearing a cream blouse with floral detailing and an attached capelet with a black skirt, spent time speaking with children under the age of ten who were present for the opening, discussing with them books and what they like to read.
The Southbank Centre is hosting the ‘Nordic Matters’ festival to promote Nordic culture internationally.
