Camilla Brings Along Her Own Rescue Dogs For Shelter Visit
As the new Royal Patron of the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, the Duchess of Cornwall made her first visit to one of the charity’s centres at Old Windsor on Wednesday – accompanied by her two Jack Russels Terriers, Beth and Bluebell, whom were both rescue dogs.
Camilla, wearing a grey coat dress with black accessories and a white printed scarf, toured the kennels and catteries before stopping into the clinic, where she met rescue dog Willow. She then watched on as Beth successfully completed an agility course with a BDCH staff member, before giving the pooch a treat for her good work.
The Duchess has taken over the patronage of BDCH from Queen Elizabeth, who stepped down from the position in December’s patronage handover.
