As Royal Patron, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice in Quidenham on Tuesday.

Catherine, wearing a grass-green boucle skirt and blazer from Hobbs, watched children receiving palliative care at the hospice take part in an art therapy session, before receiving an update on the progress of EACH’s Nook Appeal fundraiser. The charity is aiming to raise £10million so they are able to build a new, larger hospice in the area.

The Duchess spoke with a number of the families whose children receive, or have received, care through EACH hospices. Speaking with one couple, whose five-year-old son passed away from a brain tumour, she told them she “can’t imagine what you’ve been through.”
