King Felipe Meets With His Saudi Counterpart

King Felipe VI of Spain had an audience with King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud on Sunday at the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

The two monarchs discussed bilateral relations prior to an official lunch. During the audience, King Salman awarded King Felipe with the Grand Collar of the Order of Abdul Aziz, the highest order in the Saudi Kingdom.

Earlier in the day, King Felipe had a meeting at the Spanish Ambassador’s residence with Spanish businessmen and women who work in Saudi Arabia.

The Spanish monarch is on a three-day official visit to the Middle Eastern kingdom, promoting Spanish business interests.
