Danes Host Christmas Reception For Their Households

The Danish Royal Family hosted Tuesday a Christmas reception for their household staff at Christiansborg Palace.

Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik (who wore the most eye-catching accessory of the day, a tie decorated with the Seven Dwarves) led the family in the celebrations in the Great Hall, which included a ballet performance from Tivoli’s Pantomime Theatre production of Cinderella.

The Crown Prince Couple brought along their four children, while Prince Joachim and Princess Marie came with three of the four ‘Schackenborg’ offspring, Princes Felix and Henrik and Princess Athena.
