Haakon and Mette-Marit Lend A Hand At Church Mission Breakfast
Norway’s Crown Prince Couple this morning volunteered at the Church City Mission in Oslo, helping to serve breakfast to the homeless.
The church provides breakfast for those in need every Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Many of the people who were served food are migrant workers from around Europe that have come to Norway looking for work, but have been unable to find anything.
“It is a big challenge. When Europe is changing, we see it also in the city of Oslo,” Princess Mette-Marit said after speaking with the people once they had been served soup and bread by the royal couple.
