The Duchess of Cornwall Visits Hampshire For Hospital Reopening
A forest-green clad Duchess of Cornwall made her way to Hampshire today where she reopened a children’s cancer ward at a hospital in the region.
The Piam Brown Children’s Cancer Ward at the Southhampton Children’s Hospital has undergone a £1.7 million refurbishment this year that took seven months. Camilla spent time chatting and playing with the children who are receiving treatment at the hospital. She also spoke with nurses and parents.
Earlier in the day, the Duchess had visited the Normandy Barracks where she met with the families of soldiers which are currently serving in Iraq.
