Pope Francis Meets With King and Queen of Sweden in Lund

King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia today had a private audience with Pope Francis at the Royal Hall in Lund, as part of the Pope’s visit to Sweden to mark the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation in Sweden.

They then also attended a commemorative service at Lund Cathedral to mark the occasion, where the Pope delivered a speech.
