The Three Danish Sisters Present Queen Ingrid’s Honorary Grant
This evening at the Tivoli Concert Hall, the late Queen Ingrid of Denmark’s three daughters presented her Honorary Grant that is awarded biennially to a dancer and a musician.
Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece presented Andreas Kaas, a dancer in the Danish Royal Ballet, and Signe Eeg, a jazz singer, with the 2016 edition of the grant during the performance of Alvin Ailey’s American Dance Theater. Each recipient receives 250,000DKK.
The grant is part of the Charitable Society for Queen Ingrid’s Memorial Fund.
