Prince Charles Hosts Nursing Awards Finalists At Clarence House
The Prince of Wales this afternoon hosted a reception at Clarence House for nurses on the shortlist for the 2016 Nursing Times Awards that will be announced tonight.
The reception was given to thank the nurses for their extraordinary work, and to congratulate and recognise their achievements.
Earlier today, Prince Charles also paid a visit to St Mary’s Hospital where he met staff and patients in the intensive care unit, and was also shown around the unit that specialises in bowel and upper gastro-intestinal conditions. He was also given the opportunity to improve his CPR compressions on a training mannequin, earning a round of applause from the chief trainer.
