King Abdullah and Princess Haya Inaugurate New Military Hospital in Ajloun
The King of Jordan was today joined by his younger half-sister Princess Haya bint Al Hussein for the official opening of a new military hospital in Ajloun, a town in the north of Jordan, which has been named after the Princess.
King Abdullah and Princess Haya were given a tour of the new hospital, which has 150 beds and 11 operation rooms that will allow the Royal Medical Services to provide better health care to the region.
They were informed of the medical technologies that are available at the hospital – which was funded by a Saudi Fund for Development grant – and viewed the emergency department, the medical imagery departments and met with a number of patients receiving treatment.
