Princess Dina Honored For Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Princess Dina Mired has received the ‘Personality of the Year 2016’ award from Zahra Breast Cancer Association from HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud. She received the award during a ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in presence of the Princess Haifa bint Feisal bin Abdulaziz, chairperson of Zahra Breast Cancer Association.

Princess Dina was the Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) during thirteen years and she has led the campaign for early detection of breast cancer for women in Jordan. She is the Honorary Chairperson of the Jordan Breast Cancer Program, Honorary Co-President of Harvard University Global Task Force for Expanded Access to Cancer Control and Care in the Developing World.

She also is an Ambassador of the UICC World Cancer Declaration Ambassador’s Program.
