A Service of Blessing in Romania!
Late last Saturday afternoon, in celebration of their 20th Wedding Anniversary, Crown Princess Margareta and Prince Radu of Romania had their marriage blessed in a beautiful ceremony held at the Coronation Cathedral in the city of Alba Iulia, north-west of Bucharest. The Service of Blessing was conducted by His Eminence, Archbishop Irenaeus of Alba who was assisted by priests from the Archdiocese. During the sacred formalities, Crown Princess Margareta and Prince Radu exchanged eternity rings, which had ben presented in a wooden box, engraved with their joint cypher.
In bright Autumnal sunshine, Princess Margareta looked as elegant as ever, wearing a stunning gold chiffon and lace dress, beautifully embroidered and with a scalloped-edged hem. She carried a delicate bouquet of flowers in shades of pink, mauve and white and finished her ensemble off with pearl and diamond earrings and gold shoes.
