A Busy Day for Queen Máxima
Today, Wednesday September 28, Queen Máxima was in Zoetermeer, in the province of South Holland, to attend the celebrations for the tenth anniversary of the Piëzo Foundation.
The Piëzo Foundation is a social community organization that helps people in vulnerable situation to find their place in society. The foundation is runs by volunteers that help the people to develop their talents and abilities with training sessions and activities. During the visit the Queen was informed by directors and volunteers about the projects that involve the people helped by the organization. Queen Máxima also spoke with the people who are currently helped by the Piëzo Foundation and she also received a special book made for the tenth anniversary. From 2013 to 2015 the Piëzo Foundation participated in the Orange Fund Growth Program.

Afterwards the Queen went to Rotterdam to paid a working visit to the Zadkine Start College. The Zadkine Start College is a school for secondary vocational education that helps students to achieve a professional, competent, active and promising position in society. Queen Máxima made a tour of the college and visited several classes.
The visit ended with a meeting at the presence of the Queen, students, teachers, local residents and representatives of training companies that are involved in the school.
