Frilly Letizia Officially Opens the 2016-2017 School Year in Almería
Queen Letizia today officially opened the 2016-2017 Spanish school year during a visit to the Ginés Morata Centre for Infant and Primary Education in Almería, in Spain’s southeast.
The Queen unveiled a commemorative plaque before being given a tour of the centre, which provides education to children between the ages of 3 and 10. She visited the library, special needs classrooms, and the gymnasium.
The children happily chatted to and showed their work to the Queen, who was wearing a white and black printed blouse with frilled edges and black trousers, as she made her way around the centre.
