White Hot: Queen Letizia Attends Awards Celebrating Spain’s Professional Women

The Queen of Spain was stunning in a white fit and flare dress from Carolina Herrera as she attended the 25th Annual FEDEPE Awards (Spanish Federation of Women Directors, Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs) at the Parque del Retiro in Madrid.

Paired with a pair of snakeskin print pumps, white clutch and a floral drop earrings, Letitia’s look was a perfect summer’s day outfit.

In her speech at the event, which honours women who have reached the top of their fields, Queen Letizia praised the efforts and work of women over the twenty-five years the FEDEPE has been running: “Women who come up change it from below. And allow other women to choose. Because that is the main thing: to choose. It’s very simple to say, but we [women] went centuries without being able to do so…without being able to reconcile career, education and parenting.”
