Jacques and Gabriella Join Parents At Reception for South African Red Cross
Young Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco were surprise guests at a reception on July 22 where their mother, Princess Charlène, officially became patron of the South African Red Cross Society.
Dressed in swimsuits and sunhats, it appeared the nineteen-month-old twins were heading off for a swimming lesson afterwards. They calmly sat in their parents’ arms as officials from the charity spoke to them.
Princess Charlène, wearing a lovely long-sleeved red frock, was chosen as patron of SARCS because she “realises the value of the Red Cross and wants to inspire people around the world to support the work of the society, especially in South Africa (her native country)” according to SARCS CEO Derick Naidoo.
