Lovely in Lilac: Princess Charlène and Prince Albert Attend Red Cross Ball
The Prince and Princess of Monaco this evening attended the 68th annual Red Cross Ball at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club. In honour of last week’s terrorist attack in Nice, the traditional dancing and fireworks display portions of the evening were cancelled.
Princess Charlène looked stunning in a strapless evening gown of lilac-toned chiffon, with a pair of dazzling five-strand diamond drop earrings her statement piece of jewellery. She was presented with a bouquet of orange pin-cushion flowers, native to her home country South Africa.
The funds raised from the evening will be donated to the victims and families of the Nice attack.
