Queen Letizia Presents National Fashion Awards in Madrid
Wearing a beautiful silk dress with a floral print, Queen Letizia today presented the National Fashion Awards at the Museo del Traje in Madrid.
In her speech, the Queen described several roles fashion plays in both society and the economy: “Fashion is often the expression of a mood or status or a particular role…it is also about industry and job creation. And tradition and taste. It is innovation.”
The National Fashion Awards are presented to eight brands, organisations or individuals in recognition of their contribution to the prestige of Spain’s fashion industry and a contribution to the “Brand Spain” state policy.
