Charles and Camilla Take Cornwall – Day One
Cornwall has received a visit from its Duke and Duchess today, as Charles and Camilla begin a three-day visit to the region.
The couple began the day at a farmer’s market, before splitting for individual engagements – the Duke opening the new outdoor Jubilee Pool, while the Duchess met with several local organisations.

Charles and Camilla rejoined at the the stunning Minack Theatre on the coast to watch a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Afterwards, they spent time chatting with the actors and posing for photos on the clifftop with the gorgeous blue water below.

The final engagement of the day was for Camilla, who helped to mark the tenth anniversary of the Fund for Youth charity, which “provides support for talented young people in Cornwall, helping those who lack the means to pursue their dreams.” She was given the honour of cutting the anniversary cake, fittingly, as the day before was her 69th birthday.
