July 13 Brings Queen Elizabeth’s 13th Prime Minister
In symmetry that couldn’t have been planned better, Queen Elizabeth II has received today – July 13 – the 13th British Prime Minister of her reign, as she requested Theresa May to form a new administration following the formal resignation of David Cameron.
The pair had seperate meetings with the Queen at Buckingham palace late this afternoon, during which May traditionally ‘Kissed Hands’ with the monarch after accepting her request to uptake the position.
