Queen Elizabeth Opens New Air Ambulance Base With A Kiss From Her Grandson
Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh travelled up to Cambridge today for the official opening of the Egerton-Smith Centre at Cambridge Airport, which is the new operating base of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
On hand to greet them as their helicopter touched down was their grandson, the Duke of Cambridge, who works as a pilot for the EAAA. William gave both his grandparents a kiss on the cheek in greeting (to which the senior Duke pulled a face).
Prince William led the Queen and Prince Philip on a tour of the new facility and introduced them to his EAAA colleagues, before showing them the helicopter he flies.
