Queen Elizabeth Arrives in Scotland For Holyrood Week
Holyrood Week has kicked off today, as Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Scotland via train for their annual week of engagements in the country.
They travelled directly to the Palace of Holyrood House in Edinburgh for the traditional Ceremony of the Keys, in which the keys to the city are presented to the monarch by the Lord Provost, which are then immediately returned.
The Queen wore a lilac tweed coat over a lilac dress with a matching hat for her first day in Scotland.
