Not The Best Birthday Present: Prince William Watches On As England Draws with Slovakia
It wasn’t the 34th birthday present that Prince William may have hoped for, as England drew with Slovakia in their group match at the EURO Championships in Saint Etienne, France today.
William attended the match in his role as President of the Football Association. Earlier in the day he sent the English team a pep-talk video, reminding them that “the nation is behind you.” The draw means that England finished second in their group, and has to defeat the runner up of Group F to advance further.
