Princess Alix de Ligne and Count Guillaume de Dampierre Marry in Beloeil
Princess Alix de Ligne and Count Guillaume de Dampierre were married today at the church of Saint-Pierre in Beloeil, Belgium, the home of the de Ligne’s family castle.

In attendance, aside from the bride and groom’s immediate families, were Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Theresa of Luxembourg and their children, as well as Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria, her husband Archduke Christian and their daughters. Additionally to them were Princess Margaretha of Liechtenstein and her daughter, Prince Jean of Luxembourg and his wife; as well as Princess Sibilla and her husband Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg.
Princess Alix wore a veil which originally belonged to Napoleon II and was first used at his christening. Afterwards, the reception took place at the Chateau de Beloeil. The new Countess Alix and her husband will later move to Rio de Janerio.
