Prince Charles Pays Visit to Royal Ballet School
The Prince of Wales today paid a visit to one of his patronages, the Royal Ballet, at the organisation’s campus at White Lodge in Richmond Park.
Charles was shown around the campus (which included stops at the art rooms and academic sections of the school), met with staff and students and was treated to a showcase of several ballet performances by students in the Margot Fonteyn Theatre. He was also presented with a pair of pointe shoes for Queen Elizabeth as a 90th birthday gift.
The Prince has been President of the Royal Ballet School since 2003.
