Exclusive Photo of Queen Elizabeth for Vanity Fair Cover
Another of the photographs taken in April by Annie Leibovitz of Queen Elizabeth will grace the cover of the next edition of Vanity Fair UK to mark the monarch’s 90th birthday.
The photo shows the Queen in the garden at Windsor Castle with four of her beloved dogs, Willow, Holly, Vulcan and Candy. Another unseen photo is of the Queen and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, in the Oak Sitting Room of the Castle.
“I was told how relaxed she was at Windsor, and it was really true. You get the sense of how at peace she was with herself, and very much enthralled with her family,” Annie Leibovitz says in the magazine of the photoshoots, which were apparently all the Queen’s idea.
