Sophie – who is patron of the National Autistic Society – was given a tour of the school by its head boy and head girl, before attending a reception in the gardens with students, staff, families and trustees. She was presented with a book called ‘My Journey at LVS Oxford’ that details the pupils’ experiences at the school, which began classes in 2014.
Dressed in a lovely black and white floral sheath dress with a black blazer and accessories, the Countess then made her way over to Cogges Manor Farm via helicopter to help celebrate the Cogges Heritage Trust fifth anniversary.
Here, Sophie joined a class of children learning about sheep-shearing, before going into the kitchen (which was used as the set of Yew Tree Farm on Downton Abbey) to assist in the making of Welsh cakes.
