HRH Princess Sofia of Romania has issued two photos of the Peleș Castle (Castelul Peleș), that she took on May 10th during the celebrations for the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Royal House of Romania.  The magic and serenity of the castle have been captured beautifully in the photographs for sure!

The Neo-Renaissance castle was built by King Carol I and can be found amongst the great forests of the Carpathian Mountains overlooking the town of Sinai and a two hour drive North from Bucharest.

According to the Royal Family of Romania website, Princess Sofia, who is the fourth of King Mihai’s and Queen Anne’s daughters, plans to exhibit some of her photographic works in Bucharest at the end of the year.
