Music and Elegance at the Elisabeta Palace
Last night, HRH Margareta, Custodian of the Crown hosted a musical event at the Elisabeta Palace in honour of her Foundation. Attendees included a variety of people associated with the Foundation itself and supporters from Romania’s music and cultural arenas including Romanian tenors, Vasile Moldoveanu and Teodor Ilincăi.
Members of the annual scholarship programme called “Young Talents” provided a variety of classical music pieces and, afterwards, guests enjoyed drinks and refreshment in the elegant surroundings of the Palace.
The Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation celebrated its 25th Anniversary last year and was set up by the Princess shortly after she arrived for the first time in her country. It supports children, families and elderly people who face difficult socio-economic problems throughout the country. One of it’s key focuses is to promote connections between people of different generations with the aim to “develop strong, intergenerational, sustainable community projects on the long term.”
