Crown Prince Frederik Opens Mario Testino Exhibition in Copenhagen
The first ever Mario Testino exhibition was opened in Denmark today, and it made sense for Crown Prince Frederik to do the honours as two previously unseen portraits of himself and his wife taken by the famed photographer are part of the ‘No Limits’ exhibition.

Frederik was shown around the three-level exhibition by Testino himself, smiling broadly when they came to a portrait of the Prince with his wife Mary. He reached out to touch the portrait, which hangs next to a life-size one of Frederik in full military uniform. An individual portrait of Mary – in black and white – is also part of the exhibition, as are other royal shots.
“I’m really happy!” the Prince said to the media afterwards, of the portraits that were taken back in 2013.
