Flashback Friday: George V’s Silver Jubilee Celebration
May 6, 1935: the British Royal Family gathers in London to celebrate the silver jubilee of King George V.
Among the celebrations were a carriage ride through the streets of the capital, a thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral, and a balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.
