May 6, 1935: the British Royal Family gathers in London to celebrate the silver jubilee of King George V.

Among the celebrations were a carriage ride through the streets of the capital, a thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral, and a balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.

Here are some photographs from the day, including the adorable little Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret in matching coats and cloche hats.
