William and Kate’s Fifth Wedding Anniversary
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary (doesn’t time simply fly?!). They were married on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
To mark their half-decade as a married couple, here are five of the most memorable photographs from their wedding:
Catherine Middleton arrives at Westminster Abbey, giving the first full look at her Alexander McQueen wedding gown, as her sister Pippa prepares her train
A smile between the bride and groom as Michael Middleton gives his elder daughter away
The new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge share a kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, while flower girl Grace van Custem covers her ears to block out the noise of both the flyover and the crowd, coming close to stealing the whole show!
The newlyweds drive from Buckingham Palace to Clarence House following the official wedding reception in Prince Charles’s Aston Martin DB6 Volante, decorated specially for the occasion
