Papa-Daughter Date: Felipe and Leonor Enjoy Evening at UEFA Semi-Final

Last night, the UEFA Champions League semi-final match between Atletico de Madrid and Bayern Munich had two royal spectators in King Felipe VI and his eldest daughter, Princess Leonor.

The two royals were seen in the VIP section of the Vicente Calderon Stadium as the Spanish team defeated its German rival 1-0 to gain the advantage in the path to the final at the end of May (the King leapt to his feet like much of the stadium when the ball hit the net).

Leonor was given a personalised Atletico jersey during the game, and told reporters as she and her papa left the stadium that she enjoyed herself “very much”.
