Dutch Royals Meet With Pope Francis
Yesterday, Monday April 25, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were received by Pope Francis at the Vatican for a private audience.
The Royal Couple was accompanied by their three daughters: Princess Amalia, Princess Alexia, Princess Ariane. For the Princesses was the first meeting with the Pope while the King and the Queen met the Holy Father on March 19, 2013 when the then Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Crown Princess Máxima attended the Papal Inauguration Mass in St. Peter’s Square.
Queen Máxima wore a long black dress with a black lace mantilla veil and also the three Princesses wore black dresses.
