Prince Harry Helps Former Olympian After Tumble At London Marathon Presentation
Prince Harry showed his gallant side earlier today as he rushed to the aid of 86-year-old former Olympian Sylvia Disley after she took a tumble.
Mrs Disley fell on the podium at the London Marathon medal presentation as she and Harry were about to present the Disley Lifetime Achievement Award. Harry was quickly by her side, helping her back to her feet and held her arm as they left the podium area afterwards.
The Prince, who is patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, also presented awards to the winners of the mini-Marathon (for children), the men’s and women’s and the wheelchair events.
During the course of the event, Harry spent time speaking with staff and volunteers, as well as charity participants of this year’s race.
