Surrounded by Her Youngest Descendants, A New Portrait of Elizabeth II
In a lovely new photograph released to mark Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday tomorrow, the monarch is seen surrounded by the next generation: her two youngest grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Taken by Annie Leibovitz over Easter last month at Windsor Castle, the photograph shows the Queen sitting with 11-month-old Princess Charlotte in her lap surrounded by Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, James, Viscount Severn, Prince George, Savannah and Isla Phillips and Mia Tindall (who is adorably holding up the Queen’s ever-present handbag).
Making the cover of tomorrow’s edition of The Daily Telegraph, it is believed that a few more photos will also be published to mark the milestone birthday.
