First Baby on the Way for Amedeo and Elisabetta…Next Month!

After brief rumblings of a pregnancy this week, the Belgian Royal Court has confirmed that Prince Amedeo, eldest son of Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz, and his wife Elisabetta are expecting their first child.

And the biggest surprise is that the baby is due sometime next month!

The baby will be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, and will be the first great-grandchild of King Albert and Queen Paola as well as for Archduchess Margherita of Austria-Este, Amedeo’s paternal grandmother.
