A Third Daughter for Prince Hamzah & Princess Basmah of Jordan
Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein of Jordan and his wife Princess Basmah Hamzah welcomed today their third child, a baby girl named Princess Badiya bint Hamzah.
The newborn Princess Badiya is the couple’s third child, following her sisters Princess Zein and Princess Noor. She has also an elder half-sister, Princess Haya, from her father’s previous marriage.

Prince Hamzah, 36, is the eldest son of the late King Hussein and Queen Noor of Jordan. He was educated at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He is currently serving in the Arab Jordanian Army.
The Prince was also named as Crown Prince of Jordan for five years following the death of his father in 1999 until relieved by his half-brother, King Abdullah II, in 2004.
In January 2012 Prince Hamzah married secondly the Canadian-born pilot Miss Basmah Bani Ahmad who later became Princess Basmah Hamzah. He was previously married to his second cousin, Princess Noor bint Asem bin Nayef, whom he divorced in 2009.
