Albert and Charlène Stop By Third Princess Charlène Rally
Monaco’s Prince Albert and Princess Charlène paid a visit to the Third Princess Charlene Rally, an event with the purpose of teaching young people with the true values of sport, “teamwork, determination, respect and cooperation”.
Over 400 students from three schools across the country were selected to participate in the Rally, where they took part in several activities to show the above mentioned values: a timed running race, a sports competition workshop, a teamwork workshop and an intellectual workshop.
Princess Charlène presented trophies to the participants during the event, before she and her husband posed for a commemorative group photo with all the students.
The event is held each year in connection with the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. The Department of Education, Youth and Sport organises the event alongside the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation and the Parent-Teacher Association of Monaco.
