A Royal Visit for the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards at their Scottish Base
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards had a visit from their Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, the Duke of Kent, today at their base in Scotland.
The Duke was given a tour of Leuchars Station, located in Fife, that has been the home base of the regiment since the middle of 2015. The regiment is the only cavalry regiment of Scotland and is the United Kingdom’s lead light cavalry battlegroup.
Prince Edward then opened the new mess hall before having lunch with the soldiers and their families.
