Crown Prince Haakon Passes Armed Forces Parachute Course
The Crown Prince of Norway is now a qualified military tactical skydiver, after completing a parachuting course with the Armed Forces Special Command.
During the course held this week at Camp Rena, Haakon took part in a number of physical tests and training sessions, including both day and night jumps, to gather his qualification. The Armed Forces Special Command unit is a operational task force that carry out missions within national and international crisis management.
